It seems like former beauty queen Olivia Culpo has a new castle in her life. On Monday, the 2012 Miss Universe pageant winner posted a photo on Instagram of herself; her boyfriend, Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey; and a cute dog posing outside of a home with a stone turret and a diamond-pane window.
The façade looks identical to that of a French château–inspired, six-bedroom, seven-and-two-half-bathroom residence that Mansion Global reports recently set a record as the most expensive property in the greater Charlotte, North Carolina, area when it sold for $7.5 million earlier this month. (The site also reports that the buyer is a Denver-based LLC, and McCaffrey hails from that area.)
Located on Lake Norman, the opulent dwelling spans 11,595 square feet, not including the guest apartment. Listing photos show that there is a curving staircase with a wrought-iron bannister in the front entryway, with a distressed pattern on the wall that also appears in another post of Culpo’s from Wednesday. Traditional, grand decor abounds, from the numerous stone fireplaces to the kitchen cabinets to the molding. Dubbed “Grand Lac Chateau” in the listing, the house sits on 8.63 acres and features amenities including a wine cellar, massive two-story closet in the master bedroom, and infinity pool.
Though she may not technically own the dwelling with McCaffrey, it is clear from Culpo’s posts that she’s making herself at home and enjoying the surrounding area as well. In addition to posing outside and on the stairs, her recent post shows her decorating the front stoop with a variety of pumpkins, squash, and autumn-appropriate burgundy daisies; as well as bringing her dog on a trip to the local Target.
